HAPPINESS IS... #7

Happinesss is...

...the gift of love ♥


Since I already got my Valentine's present (popcorn) in late January, I wasn't really expecting to get another present from my sweet husband on Valentine's day itself.

A couple of minutes after the clock struck midnight, my husband and I were still up in our bed, when I asked him to scratch my back.  I laid on my chest and soon after he started scratching my back, he got up and asked me if I have powder that he can put on my back.  With my back turned onto him, I couldn't really see him, but I could hear him going around the room and opening one of the drawers of our dresser as if looking for something (I was thinking of powder or lotion perhaps).  Without looking at him, I replied that I don't have any powder.  He then went back to bed and lay beside me.  He swung an arm over my body reaching to my itching back.  While fiddling with my iPhone, I turned to face him.  He then said, "I know what can make that itchiness go away."  I felt his hand scoop something from under my pillow, and then he surprised me with this blue box which I immediately recognized (from my engagement ring and wedding ring), and then he said, "Happy Valentine's Day, love."   I eagerly and very excitedly opened the box, and lo and behold, a very beautiful and precious diamond and pearl white gold necklace sparkled in front of me.  I couldn't contain my happiness I felt like crying!  Best Valentine's Day ever ♥

Thank you, Vince, for being the wonderful husband you are.  Your gift of love is more than enough for me to rejoice every day, but you always go the extra mile to keep me extraordinarily happy and superbly satisfied at all times.  I love you forever and for always.

    1. ay naku, lainy, lumampas pa sa cloud 9. lol. hindi ko naman kasi ineexpect to, and hindi din naman ako nanghingi ng anything sa kanya for Valentine's, kaya super surprised ako nung natanggap ko 'to :)

    1. Kahit noon pang hindi pa kami kasal, ganyan na sya talaga. Daming beses na din nya ako sinurprise at talagang napapaiyak ako sa pagka touched sa thoughtfulness nya. And you know what, hindi lang sya sa'kin ganyan, pero pati sa ibang tao. Very thoughtful talaga sya and he puts effort to express his thoughts into actions :)
